Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Have You Ever Been To A Psychic??? Were they accurate?

Answer by choko_canyon
Sure, and no of course they weren’t. If psychics existed, they would all be fabulously wealthy and wouldn’t hire out their talents for $ 5 on the street, trust me.

Answer by Yaya
Some were, some weren’t.

I’ve learned to only go to those who are recommended by someone I know who has met with them.

Answer by Cardiff 78
Oh jesus phychics are a load of you know what.

Answer by EndlessMountain
yes and some were and some were not. There are many scam psychics out there so you must be weary. Also do not do anything to give away your answers. South Park did a great parody on this which was very funny on psychics. Now that I say this I want to watch this episode again.

The best psychic I advise you to go to is Jesus Christ and it is free. He never told a fib or nothing. You get nothing but the truth from him and more.

Answer by Tony Manero
I have always enjoyed psychic abilities and I have always been right. Since I don’t do parlor tricks and use my powers for good not evil, I enjoy the accuracy I achieve.

BTW, next year will find you in financial bind BUT you will find a ray of light in a new person that puts a smile on your face!

Answer by Praise the Lord!
Actually a long time ago I did and they were. I have since learned through by Bible studies that the psychic is of satan and not of God. So I never went to another one again. I asked Jesus for His forgiveness and I am blessed to have it.

I go to Spiritual Center’s and apart of the service is a reading from a Medium and yes they are accurate sometimes not the way you think

Love & Blessings

Answer by kat c
yes and what she told me at the time I did not believe until things just started coming true.
So a couple years later I went back but had someone else do the reading ( her niece I think ) and she was full of crap. But her Aunt was dead on. IT was crazy how accurate she was.

Also, my exhusband just went to see one and it has really helped him with some healing he needed. I don’t believe all psychics are bad people but you do have to watch out for scams artists.

Answer by NewBorn
No, not really.. 27 % of the time they were off…

Answer by LeLampment.
She said something big would happen in March- and it didnt.
But she also said that certain dead relatives of mine were watching over me, and she was accurate with their names, presonality and appearance.
So im on the fence here.

Answer by Peter
Well, I didn’t visit the psychic, she offered her ‘talents’ gratis.
What did she have to say? That I would marry a home-town girl, have 2 children, one with health problems, and a third would not be born alive
.>> All true<< She also claimed that my most recent series of lives started in 1147, and that I was an extremely old soul. >>impossible to ascertain<< Another psychic told me that a couple of family members hung around me a lot. She described one of my deceased aunts perfectly, and described a famous sea captain--she couldn't have known we were related--equally well. In fact, she described the captain's demise back in 1912 perfectly, and with the humour he would have used: "I was squished." >>accuracy? I purposely gave her no information, but I was impressed at the detail.<<

I went to one – just for fun – and she was pretty much right on. She told me some stuff that I KNEW – but she had no way of knowing. For instance – she told me that my upcoming travel to New York and Florida was going to be good. I had trips planned to both of those places – and I have no idea how should could have possibly known that. The trips were good. She also told me that there was someone at work with brown hair and glasses who was horribly jealous of me. That seemed absolutely ridiculous. But – as time went on – it became very obvious that my boss was very jealous of how well I worked with some of the managers. She had red hair and no glasses. But one day – she came into work looking like hell – and she WAS wearing glasses (instead of contacts) – and the brown roots of her hair were showing. It all made sense that day.

I’ve also been to a psychic fair – where I was told a bunch of really stupid stuff. And – I went to a psychic at a beach town once – and she was way off on everything she told me.

It’s pretty hit or miss.

My opinion is that if you really want HELP (which is what a psychic will eventually offer you – so they can get repeat business) – go and get a good therapist – and spend your money and work on yourself in that way.

The psychics are manipulated by Satan who tells them what they want to hear. God does not allow spirits who cross over to his side to talk to sorcerers mediums clairvoyants or ouija boards he doesn’t like it and forbids it.

No and oddly enough I regret it.

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Have you had accurate answers from psychics here?

I am sure many are very kind. How many have been accurate to you?
Can you suggest someone?

Answer by Wurm™
[sarcasm] I have had very accurate answers. I have won the lottery three times. I have avoided a devastating building explosion. I found my lost dog four hundred miles away in the exact place they told me I would. [/sarcasm]

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Are there any genuine and accurate psychics or clairvoyants out there ? are they all charlatans & hoodwinkers

There seems to be so many so called psychics, clairvoyants, readers, seers, etc, etc.sending folks false promices in their junk mail here in the USA where they reside. Then have us mail thier payments to either Switzerland or The Netherlands
so as to avoid paying US Taxes. While they keep on robbing us.As soon as you send off one set of money. There comes two and three more letters asking for more, even before you receive your first order. Are there any genuine psychics out there?.

Answer by purplerain
i believe there are genuine psychics out there, but they are hard to find because they’re usually private people. the true ones who charge for their services usually don’t charge very much and their advertising is always by word of mouth. they have to eat and pay rent, so they may supplement their income by asking for a nominal fee – like having a second job. the red flag for the fakes is usually the crazy advertising. i believe we all have the ability but most are too afraid or skeptical to explore it. i have dabbled a bit but even i am not focused enough to really dig deep and get in touch with it. i have had some psychic success but limited only to a close circle of people… very unfocused. is the only place i found word-of-mouth recommendations and ratings. they usually charge, like, $ 1/min. so if you read a profile you clicked with, i’d give ’em a minute to prove themselves. here’s an article that may help you spot fakes:
and how to develop your own ability: the whole site has a lot of info. i tried astral projection (it has an article on this) and it was mind-blowing… proven by the person (who was a small child, too young to know to make up a story like that) whom i “visited”. just because conventional wisdom (an oxymoron if i ever saw one) says it’s not possible just means it has yet to be explained. you just gotta keep an open mind and be smart. some would say it’s hard to do both, but you can do it. good luck!

Answer by chainlightning38
There is a million dollars waiting for the first person that can prove any paranormal ability or event. This has been offered for over ten years and no one has come remotely close.

Many think that the paranormal is factual or common enough to be routine. Though proof will destroy all the laws of physics. Along with being a shoe-in for a Nobel Prize. You would think someone that could win the Randi prize (for themselves or a charity) would gladly do so and prove to the world that the paranormal is indeed real.
That has not happened.

Answer by ABBABABE
Ignore them all! Chuck stuff like that in the trash!

If you can’t get good advice for free, don’t bother!

Too many good sites with free information, horoscopes and many people with good intentions.

Different if you are asking a well known astrologer for a proper reading and you consider it value for money. Otherwise, steer clear of all who want you to pay. Especially the weird ones who attempt to frighten you into needing their advice.

Answer by Sadhara Satguru

Yes there are millions of genuine psychic about.

The letters that you talk about have never been in the company of a psychic of any kind. They are sent by business folk who know that people will fall for high hopes & promises.

I offer a Real experience when you have a reading with me. I do not sugarcoat my answers and never hold anything back. If you want the truth and someone who will be as straightforward as possible, please come visit my free chat. Since the age of 9 years old I have had dreams, visions and heard voices. At that young age I became frightened and was not sure what to think of all this. Lucky for me my Grandmother and Mother were Psychic as well and helped me identify my abilities and truly hone in on what I was capable of doing. Once I was able to grasp everything that was coming towards me, I began helping people and I have not looked back since.
