interpret tarot card

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : How do you interpret my tarot card reading?

I asked, “Which card describes my future dating life?”

I said future because I’m not dating right now.
I forgot to add the card I got was The Emperor.

Answer by Tasteless skittles
Queen of spades, this means you will turn into a lesbian

Answer by ?
The Emperor is all about power, control and order. How do you feel about a lot of structure? With the Emperor we are talking about a LOT of it. Structure can force us to stop getting into negative or unhealthy patterns. It can get us back on track. My advice to you for dating is to take more control, really occupy the throne. If you find yourself being meek or mousey or in any way self-loathing acknowledge the emotion, and let it pass away without getting in your way.

If you meet an Alpha Male type it could go south unless you like a lot of tension.

Just my thoughts, hope it is in some way helpful

Have you ever asked yourself why you find things like this so fascinating? The reason, I suspect, is because down inside you feel uncertain and nervous about the future and think these things might help you feel more confident.

But this is precisely why I urge you to put your trust in God alone for the future. As I have often said, predictions like these about the future are almost never on target (or else they are too vague to really mean anything). Why build your life around them or get your guidance from them? They are only a substitute for the guidance you really need—which is from God.

My other concern, however, is one that I hope you will take very seriously. These things may seem innocent and amusing at first—but it’s easy to get more and more fascinated with them, and eventually become involved in occult practices that are not from God.

Don’t be misled: Occult practices are not from God, but from spiritual forces opposed to God. Instead, put your faith and trust in Christ. When we know Him, we know we are safely in His hands no matter what the future holds. The Bible is right: “When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists … should not a people inquire of their God?” (Isaiah 8:19).

Scientifically speaking, I interpret tarot card reading as subjective bias and superstition.

Answer by IntuitiveImpressions
The Emperor suggests that to date, you need to take control and perhaps even ask guys out. it is the card of control and male authority. Perhaps you are even drawn to this type of male. On another note, it can symbolize the dad, and issues surrounding him and dating. You didn’t tell us how old you are.

I would have to have seen that card during the reading to interpret it. The cards tell me in the moment what they want to convey. The best advice I ever got about cards was to throw the book away and ask the card what it wants to say to you. However, traditionally, the emperor talks about a man in power and being in control of the situation. The other side is asking about why you want to control it. It’s also how you go about conducting your decisions. He’s been around a long time and has a lot of experience. This experience has also taught him certain patterns. Are you resting on the past to dictate how your future should go? Are you open to new things? etc etc etc. However! Ask the card what it wants to tell you. It will.

Right, this is my spread;

My advice – The World
Second persons advice – Three of Cups
Possible outcome – The Chariot
Love situation – The High Priestess
Challenges and opportunities – Five of Wands
My issues – Seven of Wands
Other persons issues – Judgment

It would mean a lot to me if someone could help me as I really am confused by what it might mean!
Thank you 🙂

Theese are possible meanings if the cards were upright..but if they were upside down its a total other meaning…hope i helped

the world-The World Tarot card reveals that positive things are going for you at this time and will likely turn up soon. But ironically, it can signify delays and stagnation in a negative sense. This means that even though you have revealed the World Card, you might be waiting a while for the benefits.

Three of cups- * Joy, Bliss* Elation, Festivity , Freedom,cheerfullness.

The Chariot- * Conquest Honor- Victory — Energy
Egocentrism – Self confidence – Conviction –Anxiety
* Willpower – Self assertion – Hard control — Discipline
* Inflexibility Success Wealth Recognition
* Impulsivity Command -Bravery – Pride

,The high priestest..The high priestess represents wisdom, serenity, knowledge and understanding. This cards means the person has the ability to learn and teach. Any secrets that need to be learned will be revealed soon. Hidden influences can be at work here. If this appears in a reading for a man it represents the perfect woman all men want. If in a woman’s reading, she can find those values – in herself or a friend. The high priestess represents wisdom, serenity, knowledge and understanding. Five of wands–The Five of Wands denotes struggle or competition in your quests. All of the things which you want in life will have to be won at this time. You will have the energy and means to obtain your desires. You will have to work a little harder than usual. You will be considering a major change, and something will have to be handled honestly that’s going to take a lot of courage, but will be resolved, and you will get what you want. Also, the completion of a project will bring unexpected gain. Your family and friends will support you or help you to see a different point of view, and if they were experiencing problems, they are in the process of clearing up.

Seven of wands-The Seven of Wands, like the Five, again presents a struggle after the initial experience of satisfaction and fulfilment. In this case, the character in the card stands at the top of a hill and is challenged from below by opponents seeking to achieve the success and status of the victor. In a sense, this “King of the hill” game is part of the game of life; the creative, successful individual must continually struggle to maintain his or her position at the “top.” If your vision and creative effort is fulfilled to the point where there is public acclaim or acceptance of your success then you must expect competition and challenge, for others may also desire the same things as you.

Judgment- * Rebirth —– Inner Calling —– Absolution
* Restart —– Accepting past mistakes/actions —– Release
* Forgiveness —– End of repression —– Reconciliation —– Renewal
* Decision —– Salvation —– New beginning —– Hope —– Redemption

Source : Yahoo AnswersQuestion : Could someone interpret these tarot card readings for me?

The descriptions are vague to me.
I asked, “Will he ever come back to me”

I got Judgement in the Love & Me position.
I got Eight of coins in the Situation position
I got King of Wands in the challenges position

Answer by Harvey Warschild
Sure, you’re an idiot, that’s exactly what it means when you try to get advice from cardboard.

Answer by Evan Gieber
I really wanted to thumbs up Harvey’s comment twice but it wouldn’t let me.

It’s hard to read for yourself – you always have so much invested in the answer that you never know if it’s the real message or what you want to hear. Here’s what I got – I’m afraid the last card is puzzling to me as well but you may know what or who is being referenced.
Love and You: Judgement. Make an honest appraisal. Release guilt and sorrow and make a fresh start.
Situation: Eight of Coins. Either you or he is working very hard on something else right now. It might be work, or it might be another relationship. Another meaning for the Eight of Coins is “seeking greater understanding”. Maybe either one or both of you is standing back and really assessing. Either way, I don’t think anything is going forward any time soon.
Challenge: King of Wands. In this instance, I think an older or more mature man is in the situation. It might be a boss, a father, or an older brother or friend but he is definitely affecting this reading.
I hope this is helpful for you.

How to Read Tarot Cards: Connecting the Cards

Written by PsychicKathy

Hi! I am Kathy, a clairvoyant, clairaudient, and clairsentient psychic, as well as a fully-conscious medium. I do not use tools, so if you are looking for tarot, astrology or anything like that, sorry that’s not me!.

I have been psychic since childhood, tracing my abilities back several generations, through my mother and grandmother on my mom’s Irish side,and to at least my grandmother on my dad’s Polish side. We all get our gifts from God, and no other place.

The first time I really remember using my abilities was when I was about 10- we were lost on a trip to visit relatives who had bought a new house and farm in a different state. I was able to navigate our way to the relative’s house, and once there knew where everything was, even down to the silverware drawer! Deja vu, indeed!
