Question : What are Tarot cards and how do they work?
Anyone who uses Tarot cards could be helpful. Thank You
Answer by wooleybooley
Same as reading your horoscope, had a fortune teller . It’s bogus and fake, fun to do.
Answer by Rubysedona
The tarot is a set of cards featuring 21 trump cards and a special card called “The Fool”, in addition to the usual suit (face and pip) cards found in ordinary playing cards. Tarot cards are used throughout much of Europe to play Tarot card games[1].
In English-speaking countries, where the games are largely unknown, Tarot cards came to be utilized primarily for divinatory purposes[1].
Some Tarot readers believe that a spiritual force guides the cards and insights into the future may be gained from readings
Answer by Lisa G
=) This should really be under spiritual/religious inquiries.

#Tarot
1. Any of a set of usually 78 playing cards including 22 cards depicting vices, virtues, and elemental forces, used in fortunetelling.
2. Any of these 22 pictoral cards used as trump in tarok.
Tarot cards come in many different styles, and are used to help gather information about a person, or particular subject. Some people believe they are fake, and just for fun. Others take them very seriously, and believe in the power of tarot.
They can’t predict the future, but are able to give warnings, or advice, which is usually vague and can be interpreted in different ways.

The swords are your troubles and strife.
The pentacles represent health money and luck.

Question : Is getting your Tarot Cards read scary? Or is it a good thing?
Im going to get my cards read and im scared of the outcome, I know they cant tell you anything bad. But is it worth it? Is it a positive thing after you get it done?
Answer by Some Asian Guy
holy crap dude do you REALLY believe this stuff???!?!? omg whats the point? the only reason why I would actually “get my future read” is for fun not for real stuff. Example: Some con man tells me; you will die in 2 hours. Me: wow you need to get a life becuase this 100% pure bullshit.
Dont get your “future” read, its pointless, would you really believe me if I were to say that im a physic and i said that you will die in a week!? Hmmm!?
Answer by Kate
It depends on who you are and what you believe in as to whether or not it’s worth it.
For me personally, I don’t believe in anything bad happening.
For no matter what cards are being interpreted, I think that they are so vague and humans lives are so complex, that they can always be integrated.
So I don’t really think that tarot readers are psychic. I just think that they are observant and the people who get their readings done are people who want to believe.
The outcome of what the cards will say is exactly what you want them to.
And as for being scared, if you’re really scared then maybe getting your cards read isn’t the right thing for you to do. It’s only going to be a positive thing for you if that’s how you thing and feel before you get the reading.

Did you ask both questions at once? That would definitely confuse the issue.
Before I could answer that I would have to know if this is one question or two.

What kind of spread did you use? What are positions?

Tarot Cards – My Favorite Tarot Decks!
I’ve been wanting to get the Intuitive Tarot and the Osho Zen Tarot seems appealing, as well. If there are specific Tarot Spreads for that dive deeper into one’s psyche and insight into their lives, why not get a few decks to amply the readings? That’s how I feel about Tarot anyway.
Jesus was Jewish. Heard of Jewish mysticism?
Glad you enjoyed my deck collection, Casanndra! The Crystal Visions deck is sooooo wonderful – its one of my most used decks – if you are used to the Rider waite deck, you will have an easy time using the Crystal Visions. Shadowscapes is also very magical and so much fun to read with! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do 🙂
I greatly appreciated this video. I just recently ordered the shadowscapes deck. Its so beautiful! I also LOVE the crystal visions deck. I have only ever worked with one deck (Rider Waite Radiant.) So I am very glad to have seen the variety that you have.
Great info thanks
so cute voice LOL
Hi Cristina, I made a video where I talk about why I got into Tarot and why I like it so much – if you go to my website (link is in description of this video) and click on “About” you can watch it. Hopefully it answers all your questions. Tarot is alot of fun and hopefully your internal conflict will fade away 🙂
hello kate. I’m really interested in getting a tarot deck, but i’m not sure of why should I get one… I think they are beautiful, and very spiritual, but I was raised in an evangelical family… so I’m having an internal conflict about that subject…
If you don’t mind me asking; why do you have tarot decks? when and for what do you use them? and what got you interested in them?
CHEAP ONLINE TAROT READINGS! 🙂 I WOULD LOVE TO HELP GUIDE YOU IN YOUR LIFE, LOVE LIFE, AND CAREER. ALL QUESTIONS ANSWERED.

AHHH! Believe me, its not perfect! I used one of those big, square paper cutters and a corner cutter – you can get them at most craft stores. I did a very imperfect job, though, you just can’t see the spazziness in the video.
How did you trim the Crystal Visions Tarot so perfectly?
Thank you, I will look them up.
I would recommend getting the Universal Waite deck to start with (or any version of the rider-waite-smith deck). Or the Robin Wood Tarot or Morgan Greer Tarot. Good luck and have fun!!!!
I’ve watched some of your videos and got interested in tarot. What deck would you recommend to buy first?
wow definatley different tastes in tarot decks from what I am into. Of course the Druidcraft is the best one out of the bunch. Most of the other decks are geared towards women it seems and the artwork on alot of those deck are just too much for tarot. some of them look more like oracle cards. Most people dont realize how much symbolism is in the Rider-Waite deck. It set the standard for tarot and all the other decks are clones.
Yay! You will love the Druidcraft – its a good one.
Amazing video!! I just got crazy about tarot decks so it was invaluable to see your collection, thanks! I’ve just ordered Druid Craft tarot because I loved the pictures and the size. It will be my third deck 🙂
I’ve seen some beautiful decks I want to.add to my collection since watching youtube. I’ve had the witchs deck for 16 years, my husband got me the Celtic dragon deck as a surprise so even though I rarely use it, it carries sentimental value, we have the native American deck and the fairy deck I got the other day
Good questions. I can’t really say what deck you should buy – there are so many – look at different ones and decide what you like. The Thoth deck is excellent and is very challenging, so you won’t get bored of it. Although I usually recommend getting the Rider-Waite deck if you are just learning. As for learning from books – I think its important to do both the book learning and the intuitive learning – I like to shift between the two. Good Luck!
i want to get a good full deck but i’m not sure what to choose.
I’ve been reading that a lot of the pro readers use Thoth and B.O.T.A and some books for them.
Can you give me some advice what deck to get. I don’t want something for beginner and then get new one. Even if its more pro deck i’ll figure it out
Some people suggest not to use books to learn the meaning of the cards but to try figure on your own while reading, and other people say that its best to learn from books. What do you think
Lovely video. Out of these decks I like New Palladini and Universal Waite best — the colors in the latter made me appreciate the illustrations for the first time. Aquarian is essentially a cruder version of New Palladini — not bad, but NP is much better. Have you seen Mary-El? My favorite art deck by a mile. Also love Touchstone, Deviant Moon, Victorian Romantic. And I keep going back to Morgan Greer; wish I could find a contemporary equivalent. Thanks, I’ll have to watch more of your vids!
Thanks – I will check them out! I have heard of the Mystic Dreamer, but not the Wild Spirit one. I know what you mean….I don’t need anymore decks either, but I keep getting tempted!
What is the music playing in the background please?
I have the barbra walker deck, I used it for many years and to learn with. But now I am missing five cards 🙁 I will always love this deck, I also have the Thot deck but I never use it.
Thats awesome! – I love working with the Osho Zen – its one of those decks I just keep coming back to. My favorite thing is the size and feel of the cards – its super easy to shuffle that deck. Hope you love working with it as much as I do 🙂
